Wolfram Ebersbach

Wolfram Ebersbach (born July 16, 1943 in Zwickau ) is a German painter and university professor.

Live and act

Wolfram Ebersbach completed vocational training with a high school diploma as a commercial clerk from 1960 to 1963 . He then worked and received his first artistic training at the adult education center in Zwickau with Carl Michel and Klaus Matthäi . From 1966 to 1971 he studied at the Leipzig University of Graphics and Book Art with Wolfgang Mattheuer, among others . He then worked as a freelancer and began teaching in 1992 at the Leipzig University of Graphics and Book Art in the subjects of painting technique , perspective and nature studies.

Wolfram Ebersbach is married to the painter Christine Ebersbach (* 1954) and lives and works in Leipzig and Wurzen . He is the brother of the painter Hartwig Ebersbach .
