Wysoczyzna Żelechowska

The Wysoczyzna Żelechowska is a landscape (mesoregion; decimal coding: 318.95) in eastern Poland and at the same time part of the Nizina Południowopodlaska macro-region . It is located in the Masovian and Lublin Voivodeships and covers an area of ​​1,844 km².

The Świder and Wilga rivers have their sources in the area east of the Vistula (mesoregion Dolina Środkowej Wisły ), which is largely characterized by terminal moraines . The southern boundary is formed by the Wieprz river with the Pradolina Wieprza mesoregion, the Obniżenie Węgrowskie mesoregion to the north , and the Równina Łukowska mesoregion to the east .
