The XIII. District of Budapest is located in the northern part of Pest on the left bank of the Danube.

history

In 1930 the district structure of Budapest was reorganized. The number of districts rose from 10 to 14. A new district was the XIII. District. 1950 was the Margaret Island from the III. District, Újlipótváros from the V district and small parts of the VI. District in the XIII. District incorporated.
