Xoybûn

Xoybûn or Khoybun was a Kurdish independence movement and means in German about his self . It was founded in Lebanon on October 5, 1927.

The full name is Xoybûn - Ciwata Serxwebuna Kurd , which means organization for Kurdish independence in German. Representatives of the Kurdistan Teali Cemiyeti (Turkish: Upswing Association Kurdistan ), the Kürt Millet Fırkası (Turkish: Kurdish People's Party ), the Comité de l'indépendance kurde , representatives of the Kurdish League and others attended the founding congress . The congress lasted 45 days and declared the independence of Kurdistan as the goal .

Representations were established in Syria , Lebanon , Europe and the USA . The Central Committee was appointed the national government of Kurdistan. The following members were elected as the first members of the Central Committee of Xoybûn: Mehmet Şükrü Sekban, Celadet Alî Bedirxan, Memduh Selim, Haco Agha, Ramanlı Emin, Ali Rıza, Bozan Bey Shahin, Mustafa Bey Şahin and Süleymniyeli Kerim Rustem Bey. Xoybûn was chaired by the brothers Celadet Ali Bedirxan and Kamuran Bedirxan .

General became Ihsan Nuri Pasha , who played a very important role in the Ararat uprising . After this uprising was put down, Xoybûn lost its importance and disbanded in 1946.
