Yalek is a Franco-Belgian comic series published between 1969 and 1985 .

Yalek is a descendant of an Indian chief. Together with his friend Donald Book, known as Pocket, he is on the road as a reporter for TV Verity. Your investigations get you into some trouble.

André-Paul Duchâteau wrote the adventure series. The draftsman was initially Christian Denayer . Jacques Géron took over the drawings in 1979. The series appeared in the supplements of Le Soir between 1969 and 1978 and in Super As between 1979 and 1980 . The stories were also released in album form.

In the German-speaking area, the stories drawn by Denayer were published by Koralle-Verlag , namely the original stories 7 and 8 in Zack (from issue 16/1979) and the original stories 1 to 6 in the Zack Parade (from volume 32), with the original stories 1, 3 and 4 have only appeared in abbreviated form. From 1982 Ehapa gave four of the albums drawn by Géron in Detectives, crooks and agents .
