Yves Ternon

Yves Ternon (born February 12, 1932 in Saint-Mandé ) is a French historian. He studied history at the Sorbonne in Paris and completed his habilitation at the University of Montpellier .

Yves Ternon was a surgeon in Paris for 40 years and at the same time devoted himself to research on crimes against humanity , especially the Holocaust , the Armenian genocide and the genocide in Rwanda , about which he wrote books. Ternon also addresses issues of negationism , especially the Armenian Genocide denial by Turkey .
