Zur Ritze is a bar with a boxing ring in the basement in Hamburg-St. Pauli . It is located in the backyard and has a famous entrance door, which is flanked to the right and left by two spread female legs with high heels , painted by Erwin Ross . The bar is considered to be the most famous bar in St. Pauli.

Even today the crack is used as a boxing room. In the pub above there are autographs of guests on the walls: Dariusz Michalczewski , Henry Maske , Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko , Ben Becker and various pimps from St. Pauli trained in the boxing room .

The pub was founded by Hans Joachim "Hanne" Kleine. The bar was founded around 1974, but the written lease agreement for the premises dates back to 1982. In 1981 the pimp "Chinesen-Fritz" was shot in the bar. In 2006 the former “godfather of St. Pauli” Stefan Hentschel hanged himself in the basement of the crack. Hanne Kleine died in 2011, and the restaurant has been run by his widow Kirsten ever since.

After Kirsten Kleine was threatened by phone to get her to give up the restaurant, Carsten Marek has been co-tenant of the crack since November 2015 .
