Two or three things I know about her (French: Deux ou trois choses que je sais d'elle) is a film drama by French director Jean-Luc Godard from the year 1967 .

The film shows 24 hours in the life of the young Juliette Jeanson, who lives with her husband and their son in a Paris suburb. While a neighbor takes care of her child, Juliette drives into town, goes to a café, to the hairdresser and to the workshop. In an hour hotel she works as a prostitute once a week in order to be able to afford the latest clothes. As she walks through the streets, fragments of the conversations of other passers-by can be heard over and over again. In the evening Juliette returns to her family. She takes care of her son and finally goes to bed.

The idea for Two or Three Things I Know About Her came to Godard from a newspaper report about housewives who supplement their income through prostitution . The director said: "Everyone who wants to live in Paris these days, no matter what social class, has to prostitute themselves in a certain way."
The film, the title of which refers both to the city of Paris and to the main character Juliette, is a critical commentary on the situation in Gaullist France in the 1960s . Godard, who called the work an essay and himself acts as a whispering narrator, laments the loss of identity in the modern capitalist and industrialized world. He criticizes the Americanization of France, the war in Vietnam and the decline of values in a consumerist society .
Godard said: "I watch myself filming and you hear me think. You can put everything into one film. You have to put everything into one film. Film critic J. Hoberman called two or three things I know about her as one of the ten best films of the 20th century. Richard Roud and the writer Susan Sontag both considered it the high point of Godard's work. The New York Magazine said that the film is visually captivating, while Time Out New York highlighted the beauty of the work. The lexicon of international film writes: "A film that stimulates discussion and also knows how to convince in terms of staging."

The Hamburg band Blumfeld released a song on their album L'Etat et moi in 1994 called 2 or 3 Things I Know About You .
In 1996, the novel Two or Three Things I Know for Sure (German: Two or three things I know for sure) by the American author Dorothy Allison was published .
In 2005 the director Malte Ludin made a film with the title 2 or 3 Things I Know about him , in which he deals with his father Hanns Ludin .
