Zweach is a municipality belonging to the municipality of Breitenbrunn / Erzgeb. in the Saxon Ore Mountains belonging group of houses.

The name of the small settlement is derived from its location at the confluence of the two streams Klingerbach and Höllbach to the Pöhlwasser . Towards the end of the 18th century, Pochwercke was shown on a map a little above the village , but it must have been received soon. They belonged to the hope of God's treasure trove ( ) in the Irmischgehau on Kaffenberg, which has been on record since 1786 . Zweibach was actually founded in 1867, when two brothers named Kaufmann sold two ungrown forest areas through the Oberwiesenthal forest district . While the former colliery of the named treasure trove was razed for forestry considerations, the two main buildings were built in 1867 and 1869, which still made up Zweach at the beginning of the 20th century: the former Schneider wood grinding shop and the Waldschänke , which benefited from the emerging tourism in the Ore Mountains as a restoration and summer resort . The two customs houses on the road to Tellerhäuser were built around 1930.

Zweibach initially belonged to Tellerhäuser , which went to Rittersgrün in 1994 and has been part of the Breitenbrunn community since it was incorporated in 2007. Together with Tellerhäuser, the group of houses is parish to Rittersgrün.
