Aquilegia incurvata, or the Qinling columbine (秦岭耧斗菜),[1] is a perennial species of plant in the family Ranunculaceae,[2] endemic to the Qinling mountain range in China.[1]
Description[edit]
Aquilegia incurvata grows to 60cm tall, and has purple flowers which bloom from May to June, and biternate basal leaves.[1]
Distribution and habitat[edit]
The species is only found in the Qinling mountain range in southern Gansu, southern Shaanxi, and northeastern Sichuan provinces of China, where it grows on grassy slopes and in grassy places by streams at altitudes between 1000m and 2000m.[1]
