Aegean hike

Aegean migration supposedly denotes a 1250 BC. Chr. Onset of mass migration in the eastern Mediterranean . This migration of peoples is said to have triggered great changes in the Aegean region and to be related to a great migration of the Bronze Age urn field cultures. So should u. a. the empire of the Hittites in Asia Minor may have been destroyed. However, many researchers doubt that such a migration actually took place.
