This article or section needs to be revised: If a separate article "Aegean Migration" is to make sense at all (besides Dorian migration , Sea Peoples ), it must be thoroughly expanded and brought up to date. A single reference from 1957 is far too little.
Please help to improve it , and then remove this flag.

Aegean migration supposedly denotes a 1250 BC. Chr. Onset of mass migration in the eastern Mediterranean . This migration of peoples is said to have triggered great changes in the Aegean region and to be related to a great migration of the Bronze Age urn field cultures. So should u. a. the empire of the Hittites in Asia Minor may have been destroyed. However, many researchers doubt that such a migration actually took place.
