Óláfsdrápa sœnska

Óláfsdrápa sœnska ( Drápa by Olof the Swedes ) is a skaldic poem ( Drápa ) by Óttar svarti. It praises the glorious journeys made by King Olof Skötkonung to the east , i.e. to the southeastern Baltic Sea region ( Pomerania , Poland , Courland , Rus ). It is contained in six semi-stanzas in the Skáldskaparmál by Snorri Sturluson .
