Since the Communist Party of Austria propagated the formation of a non-partisan "Austrian Freedom Front" against National Socialism, several, mostly communist-dominated and unrelated resistance groups were called the Austrian Freedom Front:

• Austrian Freedom Front was the name of a resistance movement founded by exiles in Belgium.
• The Styrian partisan group Austrian Independence Movement called itself from November 1943 Austrian Freedom Front (in literature also partisan group Leoben-Donawitz ).
