The Austrian Magazine and Specialized Media Association (ÖZV) was founded in 1946 under the aegis of Friedrich Funder . It is the professional and professional organization of the editors and publishers of Austrian magazines and specialist media. The president of the association is Wolfgang Pichler from Manz'sche Verlags- und Universitätsbuchhandlung . The ÖZV is a member of the European magazine publishers association EMMA (European Magazine Media Association) and the FIPP - the worldwide magazine media association .

Cooperation with the VÖZ

Since July 1, 2013, ÖZV and VÖZ have been cooperating on an organizational level. The VÖZ office now also services the member publishers of the ÖZV. The Austrian Association of Magazines and Specialized Media will remain as an independent association.
