Overlap area

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The term overlap region (engl. Overlapping areas ) denotes the matching amount of a coverage area in which two or more signals from different transmitters at the same frequency meet. Overlapping areas occur, among other things, in the area of single-frequency networks . In the case of amplitude-modulated voice signals, several stations are received, in the case of VHF there is strong noise and constant changes between two stations, depending on the reception situation.
