Overseas course book

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

From 1981 to 2010, the Thomas Cook Group published the Overseas Timetable as a short summary of the timetables for essential rail and particularly important bus and ship connections in non-European countries including Russia, provided that the relevant timetable data were available to the editorial staff. The chapters for all countries contained information on the operating railway companies and helpful tips for individual travel and, in individual cases, fares. In each issue, specific countries or topics were also documented in more detail. Most recently, the editions appeared every two months. With the November / December 2010 edition, the Übersee- Kursbuch was discontinued.
