The AS SEB Pank is the second largest bank in Estonia . It belongs to the group of the Swedish Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB). Their headquarters are in the center of Tallinn, in a 94 meter high skyscraper.
history
The bank was created on December 15, 1992 under the name Eesti Ühispank from the merger of 10 smaller banks. In 1996 the joint stock company was floated in Tallinn and Helsinki . In 1998, SEB AB took a stake in Ühispank. This stake was increased to 50.1% in the following year and to 95% in 2000. In 2002 the remaining free shareholders were compensated for the squeeze-out and SEB became the sole shareholder. On April 11, 2005 the name was changed to SEB Eesti Ühispank . The name was changed to SEB Pank in 2008.

SEB Pank is a universal bank . It provides financial services to private customers, corporate customers and the public sector.

- SEB Ühisliising is the second largest leasing company in Estonia. Another offer is factoring.
- SEB Ühispanga Fondid is the fund company of the Ühispank Group. It offers funds for both private and institutional customers.
- SEB Ühispanga Elukindlustus is a life insurance company in Estonia.
The balance sheet profit in 2006 amounted to 911 million Estonian kroner against a balance sheet total of 49.8387 billion EEK. The return on equity is 21.9%.
