The steam locomotives of the series 92 were steam locomotives of the kk Staatsbahnen (kkStB).

history

The two-cylinder - wet steam -Lokomotiven with the axle formula  C were from Wiener Neustadt locomotive factory supplied in the years 1876-1889.

The kkStB took over the machines with the numbers 92.01-06 from the Niederösterreichische Südwestbahnen , where they had the numbers 1A-6A as series A , when they were nationalized. The 92.07-16 were actually kkStB 92 locomotives, which u. a. for the Moravian Western Railway . The machines were refueled after 1887 (see table).

After the First World War , the BBÖ took over the locomotives with the numbers 92.01-09 while retaining the series and order numbers. The seven machines of the Moravian Western Railway remained with the Czechoslovak State Railways (ČSD). They were given the new numbers 321.001 to 321.007 there in 1925.

The BBÖ rented the 92 series locomotives with the numbers 01, 02, 05, 06 and 08 to GySEV in the years 1927 to 1931 . The 92.07 was rented to the Krupp company in Berndorf as a work locomotive.

The last locomotives in this series were retired in 1939. None of them remained in the museum.

The locomotives of the NÖSWB series A were coupled with tenders of the NÖSWB series A.
