Ḫutupiyanza
Ḫutupiyanza was a Hittite general and the governor of the lands of Pala and Tumanna . He was the son of Zida, the brother of the Hittite king I. Suppiluliuma was.
Šuppiluliuma I. put his nephew Ḫutupiyanza around 1330 BC. BC as governor over Pala with the order to protect the unprotected land from the incursions of the Kaškäer . Later he was placed by Mursili II over the neighboring Tumana. Ḫutupiyanza successfully defended the two provinces and also managed to conquer several cities. He died around 1300 BC. Chr.
