.aw is the country-specific top-level domain (ccTLD) for the Dutch Caribbean island of Aruba . It has existed since February 20, 1996 and is administered by the local internet service provider SETAR . Only citizens and businesses based in Aruba are allowed to register an .aw domain. There are also second-level domains such as .com.aw , which are reserved for certain interested parties and are intended to offer an alternative to .com .
