.cg is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for the Republic of the Congo . It has existed since January 14, 1997 and is administered by the local ONPT Congo , based in Brazzaville, and the Swiss Interpoint .

Domains can only be registered on the second level, a place of residence or a branch in the country is neither required for the owner nor the administrative contact person . The Network Information Center offers a free .cg domain to every Congolese citizen, while fees are charged for foreigners as usual.
