properties

There is no public information about the exact criteria for the allocation of .et domains, so the top-level domain is only used to a very limited extent. In addition to .et, there are numerous second-level domains , for example .com.et for companies, .org.et for non-profit organizations or .edu.et for educational institutions . As of 2007, the registry has redirected unassigned .et domains to a page with advertising, such as .cm . The procedure targets misspelled .net domains.
