266th Infantry Division (Wehrmacht)

The 266th Infantry Division was a German infantry division during World War II . The division was set up on May 20, 1943 at the Münsingen military training area and was then stationed in France . In the summer of 1944 she was involved in fighting against Western Allied troops in France and was destroyed near Saint-Malo in July 1944.
