AStA chairman

An AStA chairman leads the work of the general student committee of a university .

The statutes of the student body of the respective university serve as the legal basis for the activities of the AStA chairman .

The AStA chairman is elected by the university's student parliament . His term of office is one year. A re-election of the AStA chairman is possible.

The AStA chairman represents the general student committee and the student body inside and outside the university.

He has the authority to issue guidelines .

According to the AStA's rules of procedure, the chairman is the superior of the office in the AStA.
