  • Abdias of Babylon (1st century?), Allegedly a student of the apostles and first bishop of Babylon, about whom nothing else is known. An apocryphal collection of the stories of the Apostles, the Historia Certaminis Apostolici , which was widely read in the Middle Ages, is attributed to him
  • Abdas of Susa (also Abda, Abdias and Audias; † around 420 AD), Christian martyr and saint
