Abdul Qadir Nuristani († April 28, 1978 ) was an Afghan politician who replaced Faiz Mohamad , a member of the Parcham faction of the People's Democratic Party , as Interior Minister of the Republic of Afghanistan in September 1975 during the Republic of Afghanistan . Previously, he was a police chief and was known for his strict adherence to his principles and beliefs.
