Foal box
A foaling box is a horse box separate from the rest of the stable , in which a mare can have her foal undisturbed .
Just as a mare leaves the herd to give birth , many horse farms try to offer her a quiet place to give birth, where all excitement is kept away from her. The box should also be larger than normal in order to avoid being stuck on the edge from the outset. A few hours after the birth, the mare and her foal should return to their normal box in order to reintegrate them into the herd - just like in nature.
