The Accra Lions Football Club (short Accra Lions or ALFC ) is a football club from Accra , Ghana, founded in 2015 . The club plays in the Ghana Division One , the second highest division in Ghana. The club plays its home games at the Accra Sports Stadium .
history
The Accra Lions Football Club was founded on December 12, 2015.
After two years in the Greater Accra Division Two , the Accra Lions qualified for the Middle League , the promotion round to Division One . In the Middle League you could win all three games, against Emmanuel FC (4: 1), R-Stake (3: 0) and Photizo Future Professionals (2: 0) and thus celebrate promotion to Division One .
On January 28, 2018 it was announced that the Accra Lions will play their home games at the Accra Sports Stadium in the future .
