Adad-šuma-uṣur (scribe)

Adad-šuma-uṣur was a Neo-Assyrian scribe and personal ašipu of the kings Aššur-aḫḫe-iddina and Aššur-bāni-apli . He is best known from the Assyrian state archives , in which numerous of his letters and memoranda on medical and astrological topics were found. His son Urad-gula also became a well-known Assyrian scholar.
