Adobe Dimension started as Project Felix on March 28, 2017 and was renamed Dimension on October 18, 2017. In 2007, Adobe released software called Adobe Dimensions 3.0.
Differences to other 3D graphics software
Unlike other modeling programs like SketchUp , models are not created in Dimension. Instead, it's a photo-based mockup editor that requires models, photos, and textures to be created in third-party software before they can be imported into Dimension. In Dimension, models and images can be assembled into arrangements before they are rendered into photorealistic 2D images.
