Adolf Krep

Adolf Krep is a German civil servant and was the first President of the Federal Office for Civilian Service, which today bears the name of the Federal Office for Family and Civil Society Tasks . He took up this position on October 1, 1973, the day the Federal Office was founded, and held it until his retirement on April 30, 2000. With more than 26 years of service, he has headed the agency longer than all of his successors combined. After his departure, Wolfgang Kehm took over his office.
