Aedesius rhetor
Aedesius rhetor probably came from Ascalon and taught rhetoric in Antioch in the first half of the 4th century . It seems to have been visited mainly by students from Palestine. The identification with Aidesios , a philosopher highly valued by Emperor Julian , which is more common in secondary literature , is incorrect.
