Aeson

Aeson is the Latin translation for Aison ( Greek  Αἴσων ), in Greek mythology the son of Tire and Cretheus, and the father of Jason and Promachos.


Aeson is the academic nickname for the following people:

  • Aeson I. (1652): Christoph Keiling (1599–1666), German physician and member of the Leopoldina
  • Aeson II. (1682): Jacob Weitz (1641–1716), German physician and member of the Leopoldina
