Afra is a lightly floury-boiling table potato with a deep yellow flesh color, pleasantly strong taste and a fine grain that makes it particularly suitable for puree and potato dumplings.

The tuber of the Afra is round-oval and medium to large in size. It grows very evenly and has a good yield, but ripens later than other potato varieties. This potato thrives best in sunny spots on arable land.

The variety shows a high resistance to bacterial and viral infections .
