Ahesta Boro ( Persian آهسته برو, "go slowly") is a wedding song that is played and sung at Afghan weddings around the world. Along with Bada Bada, ila e mobarak bad (congratulations) and Khinna bemaled ( applying henna), it is one of the important components of the seven-day wedding ceremonies. The wedding musicians sing the songs at the actual wedding party after the henna song.

Before the groom takes his bride home, this song is sung with the meaning that the parents do not want to get rid of their daughter so much and that the bride carefully steps into the marriage.

The music for the song, composed by Rahim Baksh and Sarban , is very well known. At some wedding celebrations, the women and relatives provide the musical performance, they sing the song and play the tambourine .
