The Alabama State Route 26 (abbreviated AL 26 ) is a state highway in the US state of Alabama , which runs east-west direction.

The State Route begins on Alabama State Route 51 in Hurtsboro and ends 16 miles west of Seale on US Highway 431 . The road runs through the towns of Wende and Hatcheehubbee . Outside of the start and end points, the AL 51 does not meet any other marked roads.

When the State Route was established in 1940, it ran from Three Notch via Hurtsboro to Seale. The section between Three Notch and Hurtsboro was assigned to Alabama State Route 51 in 1986.
