Career
Jahangir took part in world championships twice. At the 1997 World Championships in Paris he was defeated in the weight class up to 71 kilograms in the round of 32 to the Hungarian Kosztasz Haronisz . Two years later at the World Championships in Birmingham he was defeated in the sixteenth finals to the British Paul Murphy .
