Alexander Lange Kielland Monument
The Alexander Lange Kielland Monument is a monument erected for the Norwegian author Alexander Lange Kielland in the Norwegian city of Stavanger, west of the Stavanger Domkirke on the Torget .
The monument was created by sculptor Magnus Vigrestad in 1928 and unveiled on May 6, 1928. It was financed through donations. It shows a statue representing Kielland, standing on a high stone pedestal and looking to the horizon.
At the front of the base is a plaque that shows a portrait of Vigrestad as a relief and describes the statue as his main work.
