Alfons Schöne
Alfons Schöne (life dates unknown) was a German fencer who fought for the German-Italian Fechtclub Berlin. In 1900 he was nominated by the German and Austrian Fencing Federation for the Olympic Games in Paris , making him the first German fencer to take part in the Olympic Games. He fought in the men's saber competition, but was eliminated in the preliminary round.
