from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Almost-Plain-Text ( APT , "almost clear text") is a simplified markup language for creating documentation . It was introduced together with version 2 of the Apache Maven project and is being further developed in its Doxia sub-project , which was originally started by the company Xmlmind under the name Aptconvert .

The format is just plain text . Formatting is added similar to a Wiki MarkUp with indentations, special characters and the like. A document that is in APT format can be converted into various formats such as: B. HTML can be transformed.
