Old Synagogue (Hagen)
The old synagogue in Hagen , an independent city in the southeastern part of the Ruhr area , was built in 1858/59 and rebuilt in 1895. The synagogue was on Potthofstrasse.
The synagogue was destroyed during the November pogrom in 1938 . In 1946 the Jewish community was reconstituted, and in 1960 a new synagogue was built at the old location at Potthofstraße 16.
