Alternaria disease

In plant cultivation, plant diseases that are triggered by molds from the genus Alternaria are referred to as Alternaria disease . The following diseases are of particular economic importance:

• Alternariablattflecken of the apple by Alternaria mali
• Leaf spot disease on cucumber, melon and pumpkin caused by Alternaria cucumerina
• Potato spot disease caused by Alternaria solani
• Black rot of the apple caused by Alternaria alternata
• Spray stain in potatoes caused by Alternaria alternata
