Alypius (Byzantium)

Alypius (also: Alympius ) († 169 ) was Bishop of Byzantion . The length of his tenure is sometimes given as 13 years, but three years are more likely. It is mostly dated to the years 166 to 169. Little is known about Alypius. His successor was Pertinax .
