A amentielles syndrome ( lat. Amentia ) is an acute hallucinatory confusion with disorientation, perplexity, illusionary misinterpretation of reality and incoherent thinking . It occurs as a side effect of brain damage and physically justifiable psychoses , for example alcohol delirium .
