Anderson C. Rose

Anderson C. Rose was an American politician . In 1855 and 1856 he was lieutenant governor of the state of Rhode Island .

There are virtually no usable sources on Anderson Rose. His life dates are just as obscure as his professional career with the exception of his time as Lieutenant Governor. What is certain is that he lived in New Shoreham , Newport County , for at least some time , and was a member of the Democratic Party . In 1856 he was elected Lieutenant Governor of Rhode Island, alongside William W. Hoppin . He held this office between 1855 and 1856. He was Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Senate . After the end of his time as Lieutenant Governor, his track is lost again.
