Andreas Remmert

Andreas Remmert (born January 22, 1963 in Bergisch Gladbach ) is a German lawyer and a judge at the Federal Court of Justice since 2012 .

Life

Remmert began his legal career in 1993 in the higher judicial service in North Rhine-Westphalia . Initially, he was employed at the Bergisch Gladbach District Court and the Cologne Regional Court . In 1999 he was seconded to the Ministry of Justice of North Rhine-Westphalia for three years . In 2003 he was appointed judge at the Cologne Higher Regional Court. In 2006 he returned to the Ministry of Justice, where he was head of the department responsible for private law .

At the beginning of May 2012 he became a judge at the Federal Court of Justice and was there III. Assigned to the civil senate of the Federal Court of Justice . The III. Senate is responsible for official and state liability .
