The Anguttara-Nikaya ( Collection of Affiliations ) is the fourth of the five Nikayas ( collections ) that make up the Suttapitaka .

content

The Anguttara-Nikaya contains a total of 9557 quite short suttas, which are divided into eleven "Nipata" ( books ).

The content of the individual books relates to the respective book title. The “Book of Two” contains, for example, suttas such as “Two Kinds of Happiness”, or the sutta about the two people to whom one “can hardly reward the good” (one's parents).
