Angoolam
Angoolam , also Angli or Angali , was a small measure of length in India and was about the width of a thumb.
According to Helmut Kahnt and Bernd Knorr, the measure had these values:
- General: 1 Angoolam = 1.9 centimeters
- Bombay : 1 Angoolam = 1.4 centimeters
- Trivandrum : 1 Angoolam = 3.0 centimeters
According to William Tate:
According to another source, the measure was one inch (2.54 centimeters) long.
