Ankasa Nini Suhien National Park

The Ankasa Nini Suhien National Park is a national park in Ghana with a total area of ​​around 510 km². This park is located in the Western Region on the border with Ivory Coast. This national park is characterized by its total of 175 km² of untouched tropical primary forest.

In the Ankasa-Nini-Suhien National Park small populations of forest elephants can still be found. Even wild boars , antelopes , giant snakes and about twenty primates - and many species of birds are found in this national park.

In the past, WWF has successfully campaigned for this park to be upgraded to a national park.
