Arūnas Eigirdas
Arūnas Eigirdas (born June 11, 1953 in Klaipėda ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
After graduating from secondary school, he completed his diploma studies in 1976 at the Faculty of Mathematics at the Vilniaus universitetas (VU). From 1978 to 1990 he was a research assistant at the Institute of Lietuvos mokslų akademija . From 1992 to 1993 he was a member of the Seimas . From 1994 to 1995 he worked in the company VĮ “Infostruktūra”. From 1998 he taught at the Faculty of Communication at VU.
From 1979 to 1989 he was a member of the CPSU , from 1993 to 2012 of Tėvynės sąjunga , from 2012 of Lietuvos tautininkų sąjunga .
He is married. With Ms. Dalia Eigirdienė (professor at Kauno technologijos universitetas ) he has children Jonė, Rūta, Ugnė.
